Sahaita Fundraiser Events
The success of Sahaita and of other such organizations depends on funding. Money is a vital variable in this whole equation that is Sahaita. Without proper funds, the organization will not be able to function, and thus not be able to accomplish all the tasks these projects impose. Along with moral support, we also need financial support. July 18, 2008
Sahaita foundation of Canada held its third annual fundraiser at the Grand Taj Banquet Hall in Surrey, Canada on the 18th of July, 2008. Nearly 500 hundred people packed this hall and enjoyed the whole program. Sahaita foundation team of Dr. Jogi, Paramjit Sanghera, Hardep Gill, M P Singh and Gurmeet dhaliwal worked very hard for the success of this event. [Read more about this event]

A group from a Public Magnet School in New Jersey held a fundraiser for Sahaita. Every year they do a function and proceeds go to a charity and this year they picked Sahaita. This was the first time children from a school did this for Sahaita and infact first time some one has taken this step. They were able to raise $1400 in donations from their cultural Hungama show. We held our annual USA fundraiser at the Rosewater Hall in San Jose, CA. There were various performances which included bhangra dances, punjbai skits, and song items. A presentation was made showcasing what Sahaita does and has accomplished in the past year. [Read more about this event]

Sahaita Foundation, which is the Canadian Branch of Sahaita Inc., organized its second fundraiser at the Ravi Banquet Hall in Surrey, Canada. This function was very well attended and appreciated. [Read more about this event]

Sahaita organized one of the biggest fundraisers we ever organized. It was a fun filled evening which included versatile singers, world class dancers, and artists from the bay area. Guests included Jasneet Devgan, Dr. Parminder Singh, Dr. Rajinder Singh, and many more! Visit the fundraiser event page for more information!

Members of Sahaita actively helped Sikh temple, Fremont raise funds for the Katrina disaster relief. The funds were collected as joint effort by Sikh organizations locally and about $25000 was raised and member of Gurdwara committee went to Houston to help the efforts to feed the needy.

Sahaita organized "An Evening of Unique Entertainment and Dinner" fundraiser, which was held at Rosewater Hall, San Jose, California on June 19th, 2005 (Father's Day).

A Tsunami Disaster Fund raiser was held at Raja Sweet's in Hayward California. With the kind donation of the venue and food, Sahaita was able to help raise money that was sent overseas to help the victims of the tragic Tsunami Disaster that occurred on December 26, 2004.

Sehatnama
