Who are we?

Sahaita is a non-profit organization committed to educating, supporting and uplifting the underprivileged members of society. We accomplish this through healthcare initiatives, education sponsorships, vocational training and affiliated partner non-profit organizations. We are a volunteer run organization with 100% of donated funds going to our projects.

COVID19 Support Project

Sahaita is helping our community in the fight against COVID-19 on multiple fronts, we are engaged in India by providing PPE kits to medical officers in various districts on Punjab.  To date we have been providing langar and grocery to needy families.  In US and Canada we have distributed over 10,000 masks, KN95 and Surgical mask to various hospitals, nursing homes and front line employees.

100% goes to the field

When you fundraise or donate, every dollar goes directly to projects and causes supported by Sahaita. Private donors fund our operating costs, so 100% of your money can go to the field.

Complete Transparency

At Sahaita, every penny is accounted for so that you can judge for yourself how carefully our funds are used. There are no management salaries, no five-star hotels, just a team of hard-working, dedicated individuals devoted to great cause.

We need your help

Every 5 seconds, someone, somewhere goes blind. You can help stop it!

285 million people in the world suffer from blindness and low vision, while 80% of the cases can be avoided! In developing countries, being visually impaired is not a disability, it’s a death sentence – especially for the very young and old.
